    The staff is attentive, the breakfast healthy, the location is comfortable short walk to the centre and waterfront better restaurants. The atmosphere of the hotel is unique! Exceptional service, they provide a free parking and free Wi-Fi. Pool area is clean, liked this place. Thank you for a perfect stay.

    It has absolutely lovely employees. The location is great and incredible, 2 km from V&a Waterfront Shopping Mall. 21 minutes drive to the airport, it is located on another taxi.

    Cape Diem Lodge seemed like a cute retreat right in the heart of Cape Town. Arriving late, the night porter offered a warm welcome drink and helped us settle in. My room, the Standard Queen Room, combined chic modern decor with charming Victorian touches, like high ceilings and wooden floors. Breakfast stood out with its variety. I particularly enjoyed the eggs benedict and fresh pastries. The pool area was beautifully landscaped and perfect. Only downside? The area could use a few more sun loungers by the pool to unwind.

    The hotel staff is very friendly. All the design and decoration are amazing.

    Too much noisy due to breakfast be beside the rooms. And perhaps is not fault of the hotel, but the total cost of the room in the website was different (less) than the total paid in the hotel.

    the Lodge is beautiful, I love the area around the pool. Room was so nice, you get slippers and bathrobes, love the rainshower.. enough wardrobe space - mini fridge... . The fact that they keep an extra bathroom for people to take a shower if they fly late, is absolutely wonderful. Walking distance from V & A Waterfront is true and not only for long distance runners :p

    Ope, breakfast was just good-freshly cooked and lotsta options! The staff was like a warm hug-so friendly and helpful, kept checking in on us. Oh, and that complimentary bottle of Cape wine? A nice surprise after a long day of exploring. Just wish there were a few more sun loungers by the pool to chill out on, ya know?

    Cape Diem Lodge is in a perfect location for walking to the V and A waterfront and also downtown (less than a mile). It is a beautiful facility with very friendly staff.

    For the price we paid, I think cheese and crackers in the evening should have been free. We had to pay, and were not told this until check-out.
